October 12 featured titles: The Raven's Gift by Don Rearden (signed and donated by author) AND You on YouTube—Using YouTube to Sell your Art, Book, Craft or Service by Marguerita McManus (signed and donated by author)

We’re giving away two books each day of Alaska Book Week. To win one of today’s featured titles, leave a comment either here or on our Facebook page; one entry per person per day. Winners will be chosen by random drawing each day and announced on this site and on Facebook the following day. We must be able to reach you by email in order to arrange to mail your prize to you.

Congratulations to yesterday’s winners, Tom Rogge and Lambright! Please email 49writers@alaskabookweek.com by October 20 with your mailing address so we can send your prize.

Today’s question for comment: Which Alaska book (by an Alaska author or about Alaska) have you read most recently?

  2. Try Dana Stabonow's "Though Not Dead!" She is a great mystery/detective writer, who immerses herself in the character and environment that she is portraying, whether it be dog mushing, crab fishing, etc.

  3. Many Ways to Say It by Eva Saulitis - mind-blowingly good poetry.
