AQR kicks off Alaska Book Week in Anchorage with launch of fall/winter issue

Alaska Quarterly Review invites you to experience and celebrate an evening of "IPSEITY —Revelations in Words and Pictures" on Friday, October 4, 7pm, hosted by TapRoot in Spenard. This First Friday book launch of AQR's fall and winter 2013 edition will begin with signature AQR cocktails --the "Literary Tonic" and the "Literary Gimlet," $7 cover at the door.

IPSEITY features the world premieres of the print publication and short film of Elizabeth Bradfield’s transcendent "Deliquescence: A Meditation in Seven Parts;"  Gary Holthaus' “How We Give Ourselves;” Mary Kudenov's “A Man of Fashion;”and the exclusive publication of internationally acclaimed photojournalist Andrea Bruce’s “Afghan Americans.”
