Countdown to Alaska Book Week!

Alaska Book Week officially kicks off this Saturday! Please consider this website your one-stop center for all events throughout the state. Events will be re-listed throughout the week so that you have an idea of what's going on each day. For your convenience, we have listed the Saturday (October 4) and Sunday (October 5) events. As you can see, there are a number of book signings, in-store events at Barnes and Noble, and the famous Readers on the Run event in Ester happening this weekend, so please check them out!

We also encourage you to share your event experiences on our Facebook page (click the Like us on Facebook! tab above); feel free to share your impressions and photos as you attend events throughout the week. As always, if you have any questions about Alaska Book Week, please contact the coordinator at akbookweek@gmail.com. Best of luck to all of our authors, publishers, booksellers, librarians, and educators this coming week!
